Paul serves as Vice President and Commercial Counsel for Commonwealth’s New York National Commercial Services operation (NYC NCS). He joined the NCS in 2015 and is responsible for underwriting commercial transactions nationwide. Paul has closed single and multi-site acquisitions, membership interest sales, leasehold transfers, Section 1031 exchanges, and mortgage and mezzanine financings.

Paul previously served as Vice President and Associate Counsel at Fidelity National Financial’s In-House Litigation Group. There, he defended and prosecuted a broad range of title insurance and real estate cases, including quiet title actions, lender priority disputes, breach of policy claims and insurance fraud matters. Prior to joining FNF, Paul was in private practice, where he specialized in securities and antitrust litigation.
